My Restoration Page

This is my 1955 Oldsmobile, two door hardtop. I purchased it in 1984 from a retired nurse in Burbank, California for $1200. It was just taking up space in the garage and was seldom used since 1966. When I purchased it It had 68,000 original miles and plenty of dust and surface rust on the chrome.

After several months of cleaning and a new set of whitewall tires, she was ready to go. I entered it in our local city parade and took first place iin their stock category. Well, other resposibilities came into play and the Olds took a back seat, and it stopped running in 1991. I left it sit, and did not take care of iit like I should have, so now it just waits for me to do a complete restoration.  It’s not for sale, so please don’t ask.
